Rear End of Car

This picture shows the crowded rear end of the car. The fuel pump can be seen lower right with a fuel flow monitor attached to the rear bulkhead. This measures the amount of fuel being returned to the tank. The management system uses this information to control the fuel pump so that a constant rate of return is achieved.

A view of the underside of the tank. The well helps prevent fuel surge. Note the huge size of the fuel supply line to the pump (1/2") to keep a 400HP engine happy.
